Turlock Academica Jrs was originally founded in 1979 as Turlock Youth Soccer Association (TYSA).  In 2018 TYSA agreed to become the official youth affiliate of Academica Soccer Club.  Founded in 1972, Academica SC is the oldest adult soccer club in Turlock history.  Together these two clubs have created true soccer pyramid in the Central Valley and thus the motto One City One Club was born.  

As one of the only true soccer clubs in Northern California, Turlock Academica Jrs offers opportunities from recreational all the way up to Men's and Women's first teams that compete in the USL League Two and the USL W League.  

This unique structure allows our players to develop in an environment similar to what is found all over the world.  The first teams and youth teams work closely together to enhance player development.  

For over 40 years, the club has produced players playing in all levels of the game including NCAA Division I,II,III and NAIA as well as JUCO.

This structure is considered a massive strength in maximizing player development.  It is one of the reasons we chant FORÇA AC!
