Academica Jrs is thrilled to announce Tevin Jones as our new Executive Director! Tevin’s soccer journey began right here at Academica (TYSA) over 20 years ago and he is excited to return to the club that played such a pivotal role in his development. With a deep passion for the game and a commitment to fostering young talent, he is eager to give back to the next generation of Academica Jrs players. Tevin will be replacing outgoing Executive Director Simon Bettencourt, who will shift his focus to the operations of our USL squads. 

Tevin joins us from Ballistic United Soccer Club, where he has spent the last two years honing his expertise in both player development and club operations as Director of Club Operations. At Ballistic, Tevin oversaw nearly 50 competitive teams as well as hundreds of recreational players. Prior to his time at Ballistic, Tevin enjoyed a collegiate soccer career at Vanguard University where he graduated with a degree in Sports Management.

Here at Academica Jrs., Tevin will be in charge of the day to day operation of the club for both our recreational and competitive programs. Along with our DOC John Powell, Tevin will be helping revitalize our club as we introduce new programs and processes.
